Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what personal data is collected when you visit www.mindfulkatwellness.com or contact me through it, why it is collected, and what rights you have. It is written in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data is collected

When you use the contact form

If you send a message or apply for a program, the following data is collected: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), your message, the program page you wrote from (if any) and your consent to this policy.

When you visit the website

Like any website, the hosting server may automatically record technical data in its log files: your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the browser and operating system used and the referring page. This data is used only to keep the website secure and running, and is not combined with other data.

No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or social media tracking. Fonts and images are served directly from this website, so no data is sent to third parties such as Google when you browse.

3. Why your data is used

• To answer your enquiry and, where you wish, to arrange a discovery call or discuss a program. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
• To keep the website secure through server log files. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a safe and reliable website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Your data is never sold, rented or used for marketing without your explicit permission.

4. Who receives your data

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email to Mindful Kat. The website and the email service are hosted by Netsons in Italy (European Union), which processes the data only on my behalf and according to my instructions. Your data is not transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the European Union.

5. How long your data is kept

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and, if we decide to work together, for the duration of that relationship and any legal retention period. If no working relationship follows, your enquiry is deleted within 12 months. Server log files are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short period.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask what personal data I hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• restrict or object to its processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.

To exercise any of these rights, simply write to info@mindfulkatwellness.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or in the EU the authority of your country of residence.

7. Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and contact form data is not stored on the web server. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect your data.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
